A Role Play Activity was conducted in the Science Department for Classes VI to VIII from 13th April to 17th April 2026 to enhance student’s understanding of scientific concepts through experiential learning. The activity encouraged creativity, communication skills, confidence building and conceptual clarity among students.

Class VI – The Scientist of My Choice

Students of Class VI enthusiastically participated by portraying famous scientists.They dressed up as their chosen scientists and spoke about their discoveries, achievements and contributions to science. The activity helped students learn about the lives of great scientists while improving their public speaking skills and confidence.

Class VII – Earth, Moon and Sun

Students of Class VII performed role plays based on the relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun. Through creative presentations, students demonstrated concepts such as rotation, revolution, day and night, phases of the moon and eclipses. The use of costumes, charts, and models made the activity engaging and informative. Students actively participated and developed a better understanding of the solar system and celestial movements.

Class VIII – Earth: The Living Planet

Class VIII students presented role plays highlighting Earth as a unique planet that supports life. The presentations focused on the importance of air, water, soil, climate, biodiversity, and environmental conservation. Students creatively depicted environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation and global warming, along with ways to protect our planet. The activity created awareness about sustainable living and the responsibility of every individual towards environmental protection.
